Olink Proteomics Biomarker Profiling
The biomarker profiling using the Olink Proximity Extension Assay (PEA) enables analysing specific protein signatures to monitor disease progression, treatment responses, and drug efficacy. The PEA technology allows a multiplex analysis with a simultaneous relative quantification of 92 proteins using 1 µL of sample.
The Target 96 panels cover the disease areas inflammation, immuno-oncology, cardiovascular diseases, oncology, and neurology. Additionally, biological processes such as organ damage, metabolism, development, immune response, neuro-exploratory, cell regulation and cardio-metabolisms can be explored.
The Target 48 Cytokine and Immune Surveillance panel aim to detect biomarkers central to inflammatory responses covering major therapeutic areas. The Target 48 panels enable the absolute quantification (pg/ml) of 42 proteins.
The Olink Focus and Olink Flex allow analysing up to 21 proteins-of-interest, which can be selected from Olink's full assay library covering >3000 protein biomarkers or from about 200 biomarkers with a 99% combinability, respectively. Thereby these panels can be used to establish disease or treatment specific biomarkers allowing for example patients selection and stratification.
All assays are compatible with plasma/serum, conditioned media, cell/tissue lysates, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), urine, interstitial fluid/microdialysis, ocular fluids, dried blood spots, exosomes, and synovial fluid.
What we can add to your research
We facilitate the comprehensive understanding of biomarker dynamics during drug development and disease monitoring and treatment.
CheckImmune uses the Olink Signature Q100 instrument equipped with the 21 CFR Part 11 module, to comply with regulatory requirements for computerized systems. The Q100 allows analysing the Olink Target, Olink Flex and Olink Focus protein biomarker panels.
We provide scientific guidance on panel selection and design. In order to analyse your precious samples optimally, we support study design and planning including sample tracking using LIMS.
We use robust, certified and standardized workflows that include internal and build-in quality controls, comprehensive assay evaluation and data reporting.
